making an existent follower use another body

You mean that your character's texture has been replaced by UNP skins right? Or just your follower? Do you use UNP body or you downloaded an UNP follower while you use CBBE? ...If you're both replaced then you both are probably the same race and use the same textures as skin. You can simply replace them manually if you know how, or download a better skin altogether ( UNP default kinda sucks but check these out -> http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35267 )

hey Prod80,

sorry i didn't explain my problem correctly... :(

when my follower is naked or uses an armor, the skin parts that are visible are not the correct textures.

so i need to load my game, open console, select the follower and type in "set race to [Race ID] " and that is it ?

thanks for your answer,

regards,

igora

Nop, even easier...

Your follower probably has his/her own folder in textures\actors\character ... if that's the case, there's probably a folder in there called female and/or male ... and inside are .dds files (head, body, etc) ... those are the textures.

Your character uses the textures located in textures\actors\character\male or female ... unless your argo/kaji or something also have folders ... open that folder and you see your skin textures.

I dunno which part you want to replace, but I guess you'd not want to replace the head? If you wanna replace all then just copy paste the files matching from there into your followers folder, overwriting the originals.

make sure you have a backup of your followers textures just in case! replacing the head (or anything) might have unexpected results
