prensa
TheLombax1 - Hello! It's possible it's the Fallout 3 multi core bug, the most common cause of freezing.Fallout 3 has trouble with multi core computers, mainly with ones that have more than two cores & use hyperthreading. So if you've got a multi core it's possibly your problem. There is a fix, you need to edit your Fallout 3 .ini file. The one you want to change is:For XP:My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\For Vista & Win7:Documents\My Games\Fallout3The file you want will be called:FALLOUT.iniOpen the .ini with Notepad & change this line:bUseThreadedAI=0to:bUseThreadedAI=1& insert this line under it:iNumHWThreads=2Save & close your ini. If still no joy, untick all your mods & see if the quicksaves work.If they do, it's one of your mods causing trouble. In that case turn them back on one at a time checking in game between each to see if your quicksaves work. That way you can track the culprit. If none of that helps, many people have trouble with quicksaves so you may wish to avoid using it & just do full saves. Some people who find quicksaves troublesome use CASM: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/3729/? Oh, you should move: StreetLights.esm To above: BrokenSteel.esm It's done to avoid a water glitch near Project Purity once you get clean water there after the main quest.Hope this helps!Prensa Edited May 27, 2013 by prensa
