Game crashes when entering battle, started randomly late in the campaign

I attached a crash report (assuming the upload worked) from the crash. This campaign is pretty far along and the crash happened very late in the game. It just started suddenly, when i tried to engage in combat (in this case, with an army, against another army, both with slightly below 1k troops)
I have no idea how to read that crash report, though. Tried it, but i couldn't get any useful info out of it. Don't even know if the modules and core thingies mentioned are from mods or the game itself.

First i thought it was the freelancer mod, since that just received an update, but even with that disabled it crashes consistently upon entering the battle.

 

Any help would be much appreciated.
