How to make "camera shake" effect?

In it the modder has created an effect that shakes the player's view whenever the creature stomps its feet. How did he/she do that? If I had to guess it would have to be that the effect is a 3d modeling manipulation of like the camera or something? Or is what I'm say just flat out wrong? Anyway any input would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Likely the effect is made in a package, and then activated through a script. Could be timed to appear like its in Sync with the step, by using an approximation of the intervals between steps he takes or even his exact movement speed. I'm could almost be sure that this effect is packaged with the vanilla game, perhaps he edited a bit to suit this fella (lol).

 

Were you looking to make a mod out of this yourself?

I posed this same question in the bethsoft forums seen here: http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1461266-how-to-make-camera-shake-effect/

 

Basically the people there said that the camera bob can be made using "invisible" explosions. Like using the camera bob effect whenever the player is near an explosion except make the explosion invisible and maybe set the damage to a valid number (not 0). There was someone who said that it was a blur effect... something called an Imagespace modifier. I'd have to look that one up but I think the "invisible" explosion idea is viable.

 

But anyway I wasn't really thinking about seriously making a mod with this function just wanted to know how to do. I might in the future though.
