SuperMajinGogeta4 Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I just installed patch 1.1 & FOSE. When I start my game with FOMM or just normally. All my items that are on me are gone. But if I leave them some where then its ok. Nothing will happen to them. I just don't get why it does this. Also I'm having problems with http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2988 http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3330

Smosh Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 You need to start the game through FOSE not FOMM.
SuperMajinGogeta4 Posted February 5, 2009 Author Posted February 5, 2009 You need to start the game through FOSE not FOMM. So double click on FOSE.exe & run it through that?
Smosh Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 You need to start the game through FOSE not FOMM. So double click on FOSE.exe & run it through that? From the FOSE read me. 1. Copy fose_1_1.dll, fose_editor_1_1.dll and fose_loader.exe to your Fallout 3 directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder, and should contain files called Fallout3.exe, FalloutLauncher.exe and the G.E.C.K. (if installed). 2. Launch Fallout3.exe by running fose_loader.exe from the Fallout3 directory. It really does pay to read any info that comes with the mods. Not a diss to you but it would just save your time :) You're lucky I almost live on this board :D

I'm not sure what you mean. Your saves should work as normal through FOSE.

Why cant they just make the mod without FOSE?
Smosh Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 To put it simply, FOSE enables the use of scripts which means that the mods can do a lot more.
SuperMajinGogeta4 Posted February 5, 2009 Author Posted February 5, 2009 To put it simply, FOSE enables the use of scripts which means that the mods can do a lot more. Why not just build it into the game instead of having to use the FOSE.exe? & I don't see where I can transfer my saves to FOSE version. *Sigh* I hate doing this stuff... >.< EDIT: Also I heard you can use FOSE with FOMM. Is this true? That would help me out so much more!
