Smosh
To put it simply, FOSE enables the use of scripts which means that the mods can do a lot more. Why not just build it into the game instead of having to use the FOSE.exe? & I don't see where I can transfer my saves to FOSE version. *Sigh* I hate doing this stuff... >.< EDIT: Also I heard you can use FOSE with FOMM. Is this true? That would help me out so much more! I think you're really confused as what these programmes do!! FOMM basically organises your mods and FOSE runs scripts for these mods. As long as you don't have Operation Anchorage, all your Fallout saves will work with which ever program you use to start the game (launcher/FOMM/FOSE) so there is no "transferring of saves". I don't know enough about FOSE but I run my game by setting up my mods using FOMM and then starting my game using FOSE thereby enabling scripts to run some of the mods. You could just use FOMM to start your game but the mods that need scripts wouldn't work as advertised.

Smosh
Your post I don't see where I can transfer my saves to FOSE version. *Sigh* I hate doing this stuff... This was my post As long as you don't have Operation Anchorage, all your Fallout saves will work with which ever program you use to start the game (launcher/FOMM/FOSE) so there is no "transferring of saves". To which you replied Aw poo, you mean to tell me I cant transfer my saves As you can see, I never said that at all. OA would be the only reason not to be able to transfer saves hence "Where did you get that idea from". Anyway. Have you got everything working now? But I cant transfer my saves to it which is a load of crap. I also wanna use FOMM with it & if there is a way that would be great. This FOSE stuff is just a bunch of work that isn't all that great. =\
Smosh
Have you actually read a single word that I've said? Just load (tick) your mods using FOMM and then exit FOMM and then start you game using FOSE. Voila - FOMM & FOSE working. What do you mean you can't transfer saves? If you were playing Fallout 3 using FOMM and then started using FOSE it will still play off the same save games.

If you were playing Fallout 3 using FOMM and then started using FOSE it will still play off the same save games. I double clicked on FOSE & it started. Fine like aways. Then I notice none of my saves where there. Sorry that I don't get this right off the bat. This stuff confuses me & I don't learn things as keep as some ppl do. Considering I've never done this. Btw it had a savegame in there with you being an adult at your 10th birthday. It was really weird. So you can see why I'm a bit confused.
Smosh
Please accept my apologies. I get just as frustrated as you :) It becomes difficult and complicated when I don't know exactly what's happening at your end and you must feel the same when some of the things I'm going on about make no sense to you. All your saves should be in My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Saves Are they showing? I don't know where your other saves may have gone to but if you can find them and drag and drop them into the save folder mentioned above you should be good to go. I didn't know what to do at 1st. I figured out how to import my saves into FOSE. Thank you. Now can I can play with all my mods =]
