Low hanging immersion boost

This is a desperate mod request: Save everyone's characters from the tyrannical gaze of a demented God. I argue, for immersion and bug fixing sake, and after MUCH agony henceforth understated, for the removal of the whole General Stats page from the "Journal - General Stats - System" Esc menu with a mod.

Over the years i took notice of the mostly inconsistent, incorrect, fourth wall breaking or mislabeled General Stats. It took me no dedicated research to look at each stat in game and fill a few pages of a small notebook with issues. I will list a few of them and if it's not self-evident why someone would want them gone completly i'll then further let you into my mind, which I am loath to do.

"Chests Looted": Taking items from barrels, static draugr, satchels, sacks and even those containers you have previously emptied counts toward this stat; Also every single time taking something off a follower's inventory or Player Home container. Think back to your dress-up and crafting sessions, going back and forth containers.
"Gold Found": Decorated your safe with 5k and took it back out later that day? You just FOUND that gold, yay... Went to jail maybe even as part of the forsworn conspiracy quest? All the coin you had before will be added to "Gold Found" upon return.
"Books Read": Journals and single page notes count too.
"People Killed": Vampires double dip into People and Undead. Follower kills count toward your kills, even temporary ones like Erandur that can't be told to wait and does in fact require the death of all NPCs in certain areas to progress. Yet some other deaths caused by you are unaccounted for, like baiting into traps or frenzy induced suicide by gourd.
"Bunnies Slaughtered": Why? Did you mean to? You didn't notice while casting fireballs, why does looking at your stats hours later reveal it to you, and should your character do or feel anything knowing NOW they slaughtered a bunny?
"Spells Learned": Tally includes spells known before the game starts, this is inconsistent with other stats like food eaten and days passed which start at 0 as you'd expect. Vampires learn a new spell every time their vampirism stage changes, the culprit being the vampire thrall power.
"Potions Mixed": Food cooked adds to it.
"Ingredients Harvested": Personal favorite of mine. As everyone knows you need money to make money, so every coin purse increases this number. Getting canticle bark for the Dawnguard questline increases this, however, the bark itself has no alchemical properties and you wouldn't call it an ingredient, while nirnroot has and is one but doesn't double dip into this stat.
"Wings Plucked": Like the bunnies slaughtered i have to question its existence. Passive aggressive enough for me; search your feelings... (Sidenote: Imagine they added "Orphans adopted".. NO! -pause- "Orphans met, but not rescued")
"Pockets Picked": Increases if you take subsequent items from the same NPC without exiting the interface, also for each single poison and probably any other items you place on it.
"Items Pickpocketed": Your character never steals a coinpurse, he takes the coins out one at a time. Memory might fail me here but IIRC stealing a coin purse in the environment adds to ingredients and not to "Items Stolen".
"Assaults": Varies wildly. Though some events triggering this one were fixed since release it's still inconsistent. You can get an increase when you strike while detected (but fail to kill) most if not all animals, but bandits too if attacking them before they turn hostile by crossing into their aggro range, so i know your honorable characters too, found this stat easy to accrue. For example assisting the hunters in Solstheim results in assaulting the netch, and you can sometimes get several assaults if you can 1.
"Locks Picked": It's in the crime section, so bandit camp chests, door to Alva's and other implicitly sanctioned, or not fine incurring, lock bypasses are often the cause for the only other non 0 crime stat in otherwise lawful characters.
"Murders": While powering up the Ebony Blade i noticed that a suitable victim won't report a frenzy spell on them (if you're not immediately seen by others, at the very least) and that makes them free to kill without raising assault or murder. This watching entity makes a record of every lock you pick whether there are witnesses or not, yet is lax on assault and murder. While not all Dark Brotherhood contract kills would count as murders i'm going to guess dropping a statue on a bride did not for you either. Who is watching and judging?

I would say these fine Bethesda games are about liberty for me, in a simulation and setting rich enough to prop up a real sense of it while playing, then modding them to do it over and over for a decade.
Obscuring the death toll of the player would save you from the realization that on THE record most characters will have killed several hundred people; and trying to act around this fact is likely to make some of you, like me, play in ways that pull you out or create vices in your role-playing. In one of the few quests you can stick it to the Daedra, you are responsible for the massacre of both sides in a conflict you just stumbled into (not going for a quest design critique), your character could do nothing but reluctantly heal Erandur and still get the same recognition as if having snuffed'em out themselves. When meeting aggressors with a follower in tow, your decision to avoid won't matter as y'know. That's one of the reasons i don't travel around with followers as much, the other being chests looted.

If you think General Stats don't play an important role in your game then you could skip to my conclusion and final appeal for their removal. The next bit of text just provides a glance into my helplessness.

I make a point of not taking loot from any container but actual chests, exceptions are the ocasional clearing of drawers for later loot storing; I transfer said loot in single final motions, give all the equipment the follower will have and taking whatever random bits i don't want there once and for all. All of this to make smaller the error in these stats without falling back on modpcmiscstat console command each time, and for this, I pride myself on compromising with my strange obsession.
Looking at "Gold Found" and "Most Gold Carried" i tell myself Skyrim's living costs are a hundred times higher than in game and that is where that money went, not spent in ridiculous amounts doing "Training Sessions", in an attempt to circunvent crafting stats figures that give away the spam required to be made worthwhile, in my judgement.
Back to killing for a bit; "Dungeons Cleared" in most recent characters, just means bosses killed instead of the slaughter of another entire camp before elevenses with the digits to match. Here I am avoiding fights, y'know regular enjoyable normal person gameplay, to feel less of a murderer in the eyes of some unseen force holding a score board. I beat the s*** out of any bears while they're feared for XP, letting them flee scared shitless far away from me with a sliver of health dearly hoping Talsgar is bearing down the road hot and hard for pelts (pictured it with The Rift as background? That bit of road by Ilinalta then), but I carry on regardless. Oh, it took years but i've become proficient at shaking trolls down for XP to raise my weapon skills while playing at a dificulty in which each of their swings could mean F9.
I like to keep barters to a minimum, selling only stacks of gems and high value items, making up in speech with mods, so that it doesn't look like i'm playing as a merchant. My favorite weapon and spell aren't my actual favorites and even if the stats were labeled "Most Used" it would still be innacurate because i believe it only takes into account that game session not the whole playthrough. Werewolf Growls count for "Times Shouted", vampire and falmer killed should've been their own categories IMO etc...

Conclusion

Ok... i'm losing the grip on how much to highlight or let slip the mask, hopefully you're now informed of the bugs and or entertained by my pitiful state.
Yes, i've tried ignoring them, mostly i can't. Lies are being recorded, context ignored, I can pretend some things went a certain way, but there's an incorrect record that will poison most aspects of my interactions and interrupt my narratives frequently or eventually.

If General Stats were removed (would a simple change to SkyUI allow it? No idea myself), i would take on followers, have them carry my tent and freely plunder their chest when i'm ready to pitch it. Loot every container i felt like, pickpocket gold, PRETEND how many days had past and hours I'd slept and how much food i ate...
I beg you. Even finding out that it is in fact impossible to remove the General Stats page (or stop it from adding up values) would at least finally let me know that i MUST accept it because i won't stop playing this, in many ways second to none game.

Thanks for taking the time to read my super-amazing game-changing mod idea that hopes to improve by removing features, and a very special Thank You to the modders out there for the works and vision you've shared with the world over the years; I mean it. Don't have to call it "Improov Gaem".
