1eech3R
To the proprieters / Robin Scott, Sir(s), let me begin by saying my dissatisfaction with this whole enterprise is ineffable. I was forcefully required to register a completely meaningless account and e-mail only to access a few files. This is not a community built on cooperation - It's a crude and violent manipulation over the modding community. I'm sure it started out small and harmless - I even remember when you could get an author's work, which they offer freely and encourage you to take, and be on your way, without being virtually accosted by offers of "Premium Memberships" and "Donations"; to a wholly useless group of leeches such as yourselves; Modders don't do it for the money, and even if it did, I would donate my whole paycheck to one of them before ever giving a cent to you. Without you, a more relaxed and open mod distribution network would arise: Some chap might create a small forum, with users uploading to humble file hosting services financially based on advertisement. Not so here: Whole flocks of patrons of the modders are likely driven away by the hostility and Orwellianism of what could only be mockingly called a 'registration service'.Also, the fact that you apparently paid for forum software is ludicrious.Good day.PS. And I'm probably downloading a rootkit with this Mod Manager nonsense. Does falsely claiming a software is open source incur damages with EFF? Your respository was empty when I checked. TheVampireDante
That explains the three accounts you have listed (Other two being Tom812 and Tom13). Perhaps some patience and thought on your part would have led to you using the sites contact form if you were having trouble registering. You decided not to take that route though, so you cannot be helped. Also: The Millions (yes, Millions) of users already registered on this site seem to be able to survive their time despite the "hostility and Orwellianism" of registering on the site. I think you'll find a lot of medium to large scale sites require registering (simple/temp fileshare sites not counted as dedicated hosting in this definition). Now, I would have simply closed the other two accounts you apparently had trouble with, but then I noticed the email address you signed up with this time around, and I'm sure we both know whom it was aimed at. So, consider yourself banned. I doubt it's much of a loss on your part, as you do not seem to like the presentation or running of our network, or the time and hard work that the owner has put into it over the years. On the mod manager - why would we do such a stupid thing as that? It'd be sense and accomplish nothing but create a hostile and mistrustful tension, obviously you've had dealings with sites that would use those measures, and it has jaded your opinion on the matter. It's a ludicrous suggestion, and I'll have to pass it off as the byproduct of an angered mind. So, with that said - good day, and goodbye sir. User banned - topic locked.
