duinnin
I am working on a new town, Svarthavn, located in the Tamriel worldspace on an unused island north of the invisible border in the Sea of Ghosts. View an aerial image I posted today. Everything has been coming together nicely, but I've gotten some problems. So you know, everything is being built into the world, no load doors to interiors. While this was a cornerstone of my town, I have some issues I'd like input on. There is the obvious issue of weather penetrating all buildings, so it will rain/snow inside. I know there are mods seeking to remedy this with vanilla locations, but I'm unsure how to do it or how much work that would require for a whole town. Another problem is lighting; I added light to a forge, but that light can be seen from inside an adjacent house, or my tavern fireplace light shines into the next room. Is there anyway to fix that? Lastly, I'm unsure if this will become an issue as I haven't gotten that far, but with AI Packages, would I run into problems of a NPC wandering into another house to use something that is in its radius? My alternative to either keeping these issues, or fixing if possible, would be to create interiors, which wouldn't be too hard to do, but isn't exactly what I had planned. Any ideas, suggestions?
