rabidwargamer
Here is a peek at something I'm working on. It is a modification of the combat shotgun model and textures to improvise a PPSh-41 WWII Russian SMG. I have the mesh and textures done, just working on getting it into the world now. Comparison between the PPSh-41 and the Combat Shotgun to see the changes made.http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w149/Rabidwargamer/ScreenShot25.jpg Some action shots showing the reload and what it looks like.http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w149/Rabidwargamer/ScreenShot28.jpghttp://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w149/Rabidwargamer/ScreenShot27.jpghttp://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w149/Rabidwargamer/ScreenShot29.jpg

rabidwargamer
Thanks! While the model is done, I've been trying to figure out a way to adjust the animations so it can use the 2 hand rifle grip, still fire full auto, and still properly reload. Currently the only way to do that is with the 2 hand automatic animations.

Cotes
I suggest changing the textures so that it looks more different from the combat shotgun.
rabidwargamer
http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2741 ;) While I appreciate the hard work you put into that tutorial, it didn't really help me. What was done in the tutorial, reloading the drum from a 2 Hand Automatic grip, I can already do without custom animations. Can it be the bridge to what I want to do? Possibly. But as any modder will attest, there's only so many hours in a day you can devote to a hobby.

RamonSterns
That looks pretty good, you should change the drum magazine to a sickle magazine, and maybe shorten/thin the barrel a bit. This picture is reference to what I'm talking about.

Should use correct grip, correct reload animation and also fire in bursts. EDIT: I mean that give the Valhalla SMG found in the files a spin and see how it works.
