An other bloody NifSkope question

Hello everyone

I have played oblivion for ages and Iam grateful that there are so many modders and mods to this game (vanilla always felt a little dull). I usualy remake and change the mods I download so they fit my purposes. However I have never been an ace at 3d models (infact Iam horrible at it).

Anyway what Iam trying to do is for example following: Scale a pice of an object. Like those ordinary boots:

So what I did was that I selected a node then i clicked transform --> edit --> and then i changed scale from 1 to 2. However when I start the game everything look like normal. I read about this somewhere (was it something that it scales the thig back to prevent collisions or something!?).

Anyway what should I do if I like in this case want the boot from image nr 2?
