how create replacer

hi everyone

 

first thing, english is not myfirst language. so sorry by advance.

 

 

its be some month i came in the nexus mod. and discoverd the "mod"

 

and i would like to do "replacer" mod of armor/cloth. The one i want to make is to fit "as my perception", the TROPICAL SKYRIM of soolie.

 

 

the version i would like to make, could fit the underground SI-FI genre born in my country: the "METAL HURLANT".

 

 

but the thing i dont know nothing, for how to create a remplacer. i know how to replace manualy. but i would like to do one who could replace all the armor and cloth i would like to change.

 

its been some day i search a topic who could answer this question. but i didnt find anything.

 

So, i hope to find someone here, who could help me for that.

I think that you basically have to just create the new model/texture, and then in the CK make the armor point to that new model instead of the original one. It'll change every instance of it.

oh my, create is not in my possibility, unfortunately i cant draw or do something near that.

 

because the thing i want, its to change the cloth of the NPC too. to take a exemple

with those : http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/36234//? wear by some town people.

and the famous http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25846//? and replace lot of vannilla armor and so be wear by the NPC too.

 

that what I would like to create, A REPLACER.

 

BTW: what means CK ?

CK is the Creation Kit, which is basically how all modding is done. If you wanted to replace clothes in the game with those mods' clothes you would basically do like I said before, except you wouldn't have to make it... If you download those mods, their models will be in the "meshes" folder, so in the CK you can find the clothes you want to replace and make it point to a different model - say if you wanted the Beggar outfit to turn into the Patchwork armor everywhere in the world, just changing that in the base would change all of them. I think that's the easiest way.
