daysgone [MOD REQUEST] Force-enable Aim Assist OR Customize the Difficulty

Hello,

 

Before I present my mod request, I think it fair to introduce my current situation.

 

I have a medical issue that causes pain when I use a keyboard and mouse (I am taking my time to write this). Unfortunately, gaming is my greatest passion and I had to abandon many of my favorite titles as it would hurt too much after just a few minutes of play. Using a controller is better and allows me to play for longer before the pain is too much, depending on the game and how fast paced it is. Using a controller, pain depends mostly on the speed of the action and how many inputs I need to make quickly, so I mostly avoid fast paced games and those requiring precision or combos.

 

I normally avoid shooters for those reasons, but Days Gone is just well paced for me, as long as Aim Assist is enabled. Unfortunately, Aim Assist is locked by difficulty mode. Hard and Survival modes make the game harder by increasing damage and other settings, but they also disable Aim Assist settings, so I am limited to play on the Easy or Normal difficulties. I would prefer to challenge myself by playing a harder mode, but it is just too painful to play without aim assist.

 

I would truly appreciate a mod that enables and lets us customize the Aim Assist options in the game regardless of the difficulty setting. Even better might be a mod to fully customize the difficulty of the game, including the Aim Assist options.
