First is the retextures of the Stealth Armor as i was already doing. I have to say that i think i'm about 90% happy with the male and i'm about 80% done with the full version of the female armor. Each retexture will have it's own seperate item (name in-game will include the type of camo) and all will have both full camo and part camo. There will also be a combo of the neon blue digital and grey camo as seen in the female picture. Why? because i like it. lol. Second is 2 new helmets for the stealth armor. These will be separate items so they can be worn with any other stealth armor mod or with any other armor. The first will be based on the mass effect helmet with the visor but with a decent amount of changes including making it a bit smaller. The second will be the same base but a full covered version. basically take what you see there and merge it with iron mans head and you got a good idea of what i'm aiming for lol. Lastly I will be adding a new gun into Fallout (renders below) based on the HMWA Assault Rifle in Mass Effect. It will be a Gauss Assault Rifle and hence will require the DLC since it will be using the gauss sounds and possibly other parts as well. If enough requests are made to make a non-DLC version I will do what i can. Time Line For Release:Hopefully by the end of the month at the latest. Gun modeling is completed and i'll be moving onto the helmets next week or whenever i finish my massive amount of homework this weekend. Stealth Textures won't take long once i get each base to be as good as i want them to be. once thats done it's only a quick 1-2 days work to finish up all the textures. IF YOU WANT TO HELP!!!!-I would very much appreciate help. since my school pounds me with a good 6-10 hours of homework a week and the fact that i've never put a custom model into fallout (or oblivion) at all I would love to have someone take the 3ds models of the gun and helmets (when all done) and get them working in game.-Additionally, i can make the textures but i honestly don't know how to map them to an in game model so when it comes to that point any help would be great.-Obviously anyone that helps will get full credit for their work and i'll do what i can to help you in the future. One last thing. Whoever can guess what the two logos are based on and what the number 42 is from gets to be a beta tester (^_^). Hints:Sector 5 logo is based on 2 games. One recent for the Xbox and one old for the PC though it just came out for the DS.Project KR-42 logo is based on a short lived TV show that got it's own movie. And the show was awesome as hell.42: no hints here. neok182 Posted February 7, 2009 Author Share Posted February 7, 2009 @sgtroadkill: yes if you look at the 4th image it shows all the camo textures i will be using exactly as they'll be in the game. as far as a silenced version goes, as theres no silenced gauss sound and i don't think a silenced gauss gun would be possible in the first place i have no plans for it as of now. However, i could make a regular assault rifle version and make that silenced that wouldn't require the DLC either. however this would be after the main mod is finished and wouldn't take long to do anyway. Why, i don't quite understand. you make think that this is just an easy retexture but just me it's not. And that brings me to my point of posting. I've found it almost impossible to line up the seems. because none of them are straight lines and there all over the texture and most of them wrap around in very odd ways it is just almost impssible to make it perfect as is. so i'm going to have to draw some more lines through sections of the armor because that is the only way to make the male armor work and not look like poo with 5-6 areas that don't line up. and yes they are VERY noticeable. Now the female armor is a different story, because of that design it's just the back plate that has to be changed a bit. a very easy fix. So i've put the modeling on hold until i can get the armor textures perfect. With the gun being done though if anyone would be willing to help finish up the gun so i can get this mod out a lot earlier it would be greatly appreciated. Now i hope within a week to have the changes in the textures set and looking good and within a week to a week and a half (depending on school work) have all the textures done.
