[LE] PlayerFollowPackage - NPC not Fast Travelling

Recommended Posts

I have a fairly standard rescue a NPC quest and at the end the NPC follows the player back to base and the quest ends after dialogue. This all works and the NPC follows the player as required and stops following on a stage change.

Unfortunately this only works if the player walks, if the player fast travels the following NPC does not fast travel (although over short distances will eventually catch-up). What am I missing, is there somewhere to enable fast travel for the playerfollowpackage?

I also runned into this problem, but i had an alternative since my actor is a ghost. I didn't bother myself too much with it, but i think that the issue occurs because the package is not actually on the actor, but it's handle by the quest.

I hope i'm right and that it helps.

Interesting point, worth a try.

Yes, that worked, so I will go with it. Would prefer it on the Alias like in the Skyrim Rescue quests but I will go with what works now rather than after days of fruitless puzzling!

Thanks agerweb for verifying my suspicion, this is a small piece of data that it's really helpful to not lose precious time hunting ghosts....

Have a nice week.
