selestine
Hi there, thanks alot for having a look at this thread. I'm getting a weird graphical error on my characters hair, which makes it appear sort of pixelated in places. I've included a few screen shots so you get an idea what I'm talking about: http://i41.tinypic.com/fovw2.jpg I have no clue what could be causing this... :( So i'd be greatful for any kind of help.Mods that I have installed: - Additional Hairs- Bidelles Cosmetics- CC Extra Tints and Tones- CC Preset- LOTCs Eye Texture package- Dragon Age Redesigned- Eliza Hair- Morgana's textures- Hairstyle Day- HF LOTC Hairstyles- KH Textures- LOTC's Eyelashes- LOTC's Eye Texture Pack- More Hairstyles- PTs Vibrant Colors- Tucked Hair Thank you so much in advance :)
Risibisi
It's a graphic/ rendering issue and will occur with some hairstyles in all available mods. Imagine how difficult it's to render such thin things like a hair and in some settings with a light background etc. you will get this effect. As far as I know you can't do anything against it. Sometimes it could be a so called "face sorting" issue but I can't assess this because of the camera angle of your pics.To make a long story short: With your game and pc is everything all right! :)
selestine
Hi there Risibisi, thanks alot for your answer! What you're saying is basically what I thought it would be. Just a little unavoidable glitch here and there.Ah well, its not a big deal anyway. The pro's of having a nice looking hairstyle surely outweight the occasional graphical bugs. I'm sure most ppl wouldn't even notice it. I just came across it when I worked on one of my screenshots in photoshop. And ever since then I notice it ingame when it happens... ><
selestine
Hi again, I was able to finally figure out how to reduce this issue and I thought I'd let you all know how I did it: This bug is made much worse by using JB3textures at the same time as these hairmods. I found out that uninstalling this mod made those graphical errors basically unnoticeable. Don't get me wrong, I love the HD look that JB3textures creates but the graphical errors of hair ingame drives me insane at the same time. ;) So ya, If you experience the same bugs then you might want to check if you got those files installed at the same time.
