SirMagus
Uhm, well I downloaded the Midas Magic mod, and I'm trying to complete the quest thing, but I can't figure out the crossword and how to put the words inn... I've searched around the net, and they said you have to use the keypad in Midas' basement to enter the words, but I can't. And when I click the crystal close to the pad it says I have to activate the Big crystal in the astral planes, but I need a spell called "Open the Rock" or something like that. Can't figure out where to learn that spell...
Guest
in the asteal plane portal( the small one not the stargate one) there will be a small island, thats where you need to get started(go into options and turn on distant lands if you cant see it.)and as for the spell just use an unlock spell, thats what i did. Verin100
Ok. I know your pain. First, in order to even reach that little island, you need to be able to fly. Get the summon angel spell.(Gold Nugget, White monk robe, flawless diamond.)Then summon the angel in a cathedral. That will bring you an archangel who will sell you feathers. If you don't have 15k gold or more, then you might just want to summon a regular angel just anywhere private and sneak up behind her and steal one. (not easy!).If you're a caster type, poor, and can't pickpocket worth the poo that hangs from your bum, then you'll also need to learn the force push spell (don't remember the combination for that, it's in midas incantatum). Cast that on her, and while she's stun, then try and steal from her, she can't resist that way and you get a free feather. :)Then all you need to do is have a restoration of 50 to cast the flight spell and fly on over. Cast an open lock spell on the rock and begin what is to be your next nightmare.
lord_corellon
Dear god... those quests were so much pain, yet the rewards were well worth it. Just wait...if the crossword is making you bang your head on the desk when you finally get there...well, lets just say if you don't have 100 tons of patience stored up for a rainy day then quit now or else risk your sanity! xilver is a genius :D
