And while I'm at it I wondered if I could get the recon helmet to work as a underarmor of sorts with a combat helmet on top.But I'm rusty, so rusty.Anyone know if I can do this in the GECK? Three ways, none very elegant (hopefully someone can chime in with a better idea). The first is easy but will look crappy. Remove the bodyslot from the recon helm and you'll be able to use it with any hat. But unless the NV gods really favor you, you'll probably see clipping. The 2nd would look good but require some work in blender or 3DS max. Go into blender put the meshes together, remove any clipping and export it. Copy & rename the combat helmet then use the new model you'v made. It will be a completely new item. The third will require you to make the same mesh as in #2 above but attach a script to the combat helmet so that when they are worn together the script silently unequips the old item and equips the new item with your new model. But without at least one NVSE function to get the armor health, you won't be able to synchronize the two items, which will break the immersion (ie it won't appear as one single helmet). I'v done the script for something like it, but if your just starting back, option #3 may not be the mod you want to get your feet wet with.
