slayinggamer
I see all these mods with real life weapons made by companies like Colt, Sig Sauer, Heckler & Koch,Winchester,Remington ok well you get the point.Do you really want to look all over for individual guns or get weapon mods if you only use one gun i was just thinking just all the great guns in one pack. Or Metal Gear Solid weapons http://metalgear.wikia.com/wiki/Metal_Gear_Solid_4_weapons
dangman4ever
The problem is that people have different definition of a "great gun" and/or have different tastes for different guns. A lot of weapons packs tend to reflect what the creator(s) want in guns and not necessarily what the users wants. So some people may think half of the weapons from MGS4 are bad/worthless/ugly/useless while some people may love the exact same half. Not to mention that I'm willing to bet that many of the creators of those weapons packs were thinking the exact same thing you were: "All the great guns in one pack." But only great guns in their eyes and not necessarily others.

dangman4ever
or maybe some people's favorite guns or most requested/ downloaded im open to anything or just like real guns i dislike most of the weapons in new vegasEven then quite a few people still wouldn't like the resulting weapons pack and then you'd have the same issue you mentioned earlier: getting a large weapons pack when there's really only one gun in that pack that satisfies you. Also, another issue I forgot to bring up: Not all gun mod creators are willing to let others user their guns in another mod or even gun pack. Honestly, if you want the exact guns you want without the other guns' meshes and textures being loaded up, just do what I do: I hunt down the individual guns I want. If a gun I want is part of a pack, I only extract the meshes and textures related to that gun. Then I copy over the relevant GECK data from that gun packs or gun's .ESP file into another .ESP file titled "guns". The end result is that I only have one .ESP file but it covers all of the gun mods I want. Currently I have the M110, ACR, Kukri (not a gun but still a weapon), M4, and the Mosin Nagant in that "Guns" .esp. slayinggamer
I have thought about that being a problem. But yes what if were also a group project made many modders and ask the people for permission give them credit
dangman4ever
I have thought about that being a problem. But yes what if were also a group project made many modders and ask the people for permission give them creditThen it might be doable. But you would still have the potential issues brought up earlier. At this point, you're better off just looking all over for individual guns or pare down a gun pack to the one gun you want rather than create a new weapons pack mod which will still have the same "issues" as every other weapons pack mod. In other words, it isn't that big of a problem to where you would need a mod team to suddenly gather all the so called "great guns".
