Makaldren Posted June 5, 2013 Share Posted June 5, 2013 Had a quick search and couldn't find anyone else with this problem. Using Nexus Mod Manager (0.44.13) and most times I try to activate a Mod I get an error message: "A problem occurred during install:Object reference not set to an instance of an object.The mod was not installed." I tried MMUE and that seemed to work but a lot of others don't. Anyone have an idea how to resolve this, total newb when it comes to modding. Really want to fix this as I could do with RespecPotion working as MMUE lowers several of my characters skills for some reason when it is active which is annoying as I had got all to 100 - I know they have wasted skill points (buying skills to 100 then finding more books) so the Potion should could redress this without giving a bonus above what I could have got through normal levelling. senterpat Posted June 7, 2013 Share Posted June 7, 2013 I believe I get that same message when I modify my load order without nmm while nmm is open. For example, deleting a esp in fomm, then trying to install via nmm gets that message. You should just relaunch nmm and let it refresh your LO. Makaldren Posted June 10, 2013 Author Share Posted June 10, 2013 It wasn't that (not modified my load order) but thanks anyway as that might be a problem in the future so I'll keep it in mind.
