Coalesced.bin mod question

I notice that they are a few mods where you have to replace the coalseced.bin file with the mod file.

I am a dummy when it comes to modding so I would guess that you can only pick one of the mods to

use. Would that be correct? I guess that if you know what you are doing, you could combine the files,

but that leaves me out.
