Smosh
Is there a way to make a food item only show up inside of refrigerators? Do fridges have a specific loot lists I guess is what I'm asking? Cheers.
thegord
I believe the only way to do this would be to edit all other containers to remove the chance of that food item spawning in them (whether named explicitly or as part of a random-food spawn). Smosh
I see there is what looks like a food loot list called FoodGeneric75 and then used by RefrigeratorWithFood. I'm going to see if I can make my own Food Loot List. Not quite sure what everything means at the moment but there's only one way to find out :)
thegord
Yeah, that basically "packages" most (all?) food items in the game into one reference and then generates a 75% chance for it to actually appear. You can probably make a custom list, but you'd still need to remove all other instances of your particular item from the game, which, depending on what item you want to be exclusive, could be a royal PITA... Good luck :)
Smosh
Well the food item I'm working on is a mod and so will be unique. This will mean that it isn't tied up to any other "containers" in the world. My thought then was to make a FoodGeneric10 that contains only my mod and link it to the RefrigeratorWithFood. I'm thinking that will mean that my item can only spawn in a fridge. Does this sound correct?
thegord
Yeah, that's correct - that it's a new item simplifies it a hundredfold. :)
