DrakeTheDragon
From what I can read this is not a 'mod'. It is a collection of loose and unrelated animation files you can use to replace the existing ones with, 1 by 1, hand-picking them, according to your personal preference. As the author mentions, this can either be done in a non-global way, by setting up specific actors in the CS to use specific files, or globally for all actors at once, by replacing the existing files with the ones of your choice. In this case, 'replacing' Vanilla files, which are all stored safe&sound inside the BSA files, simply means copying properly renamed files into the folder locations the Vanilla files would be in, if they were extracted from the BSA.For example there's the animation file "meshes/characters/_male/onehandidle.kf" (don't know if that's a real one, but it'll serve the purpose as an example) found inside the meshes BSA. This is what the game uses for the 1-hand idle. Now to make the game use a different one, you simply put a file named "onehandidle.kf" into the exact same location "meshes/characters/_male/" (create missing folders where required). If it's not Oblivion from Steam, the game will already use it from then on. (There's one more thing, random KF files cannot simply be used for whatever purpose in the game, but the purpose they can be used for is set up inside the KF, through the name of the animation's node or whatever it was. But that's just technicality, because the author specifically mentions which KF can be used for which type of animation, and as such the KF will already be properly set up anyways.) tl;dr: No mod manager can install this, as it's just a collection of loose files in no specific order or structuring. DrakeTheDragon
Hmm, there were a few which looked pretty useful to me... but it's been several years now that I'm forced to inactivity and unable to play or mod the game, and I must admit I lost track of the developments and mod releases since then. It doesn't exactly help not being able to try them out yourself. The amount I missed during my 'absence' likely is larger already than all the mods I ever knew. Some of my own mods were surpassed multiple times by far better ones released while I was unable to do any work of my own, and have now become more or less obsolete even. I'll see if I can't find the ones I found interesting back then again though. Edited June 7, 2013 by DrakeTheDragon
