xeye101
Hi i just had the idea of creating a mod where lights turn on in windows at night. It looks strange having light cast from windows during the day. Is there a script of some kind that would allow lights to turn on and off at a certain time during the day? Any help would be much appreciated Thanks

stschwarz
Is there a script of some kind that would allow lights to turn on and off at a certain time during the day? You don't need a script to achieve this. doesn't skyrim already automatically have this functionality? Im pretty sure lights are off during daytime and on at night. Yes, some (not all) of the windows have this functionality. So, how to do this. You have to set 'External Emittance' in the (Object) Reference window for your house/window, go to the 'Emittance Tab'. Select in the 'External Emittance' combo box the Lighting type you wan't to have. You can choose between differnt settings, e.g. the Region where your house is, like Solitude... or Falkreath..., to reflect not only day/night, also the current weather conditions. But take in mind, not all Houses/Farms/... and Interior WallWindows support External Emittance. The CK pops up a warning message if you can't apply this. HTH-stschwarz
