gmg2dave
so I just got a new video card, a Geforce GTX 650ti to replace my old one, and I am having a strange problem. About every 3-5 minutes my computer makes a clicking noise and locks up completely. Won't do a thing. Can't do anything until it goes click again, and unfreezes. If I am playing a game, it freezes, if I am web-browsing, it freezes, if I am doing anything at all, I get this dreaded "click" and my computer turns into a paperweight. By any chance does anyone have any idea of what could be causing this? I have an ASUSTeK Computer INC. CROSSHAIR 1.XX motherboard with a 2.60 gigahertz AMD Phenom 9950 Quad-Core processor. This problem was not happening before I installed the new video card, and I have the latest drivers installed for the card. But I have no idea what is going on, or what could be causing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
