kieran12395
Hi there, I need help with the G.E.C.K. I have a mod, which is a work in progress, and for some stupid reason, I accidentally opened a different mod, Run The Lucky 38, which is a master file. So, whenever I load my mod, it automatically opens the Fallout New Vegas master file as well as the Run The Lucky 38 master file. The problem here is that if i were to upload this mod, when its finished, the people who would download my mod, would have to have the Run The Lucky 38 master file downloaded as well, which is something I DO NOT want. How can I get rid of the Run The Lucky 38 master file from my mod, without deleting the whole mod? Thanks :)
senterpat
In the geck, in the data menu that you select the active file in, select the ESP, go to the right, click lucky 38 esm and delete it. Simple as that.
kieran12395
It doesn't allow me to delete it by simply by pressing delete. Is there anything special I need to do?
kieran12395
Scratch that. Whenever I click delete, a box flashes up saying "This operation could not be completed because CreateFileMapping failed to open file 'Fortified Base.esp' with error:Access is denied. Exit other applications, restart the Construction Set, and try again." what do i do?
senterpat
I honestly dot know. I've done the same thing before and all I had to do was press delete. Are you using any of the assets from the lucky 38.esm? You could also try removing the master with fnvedit.
