kerpizzle Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 So at this point, i've gotten a rather basic model made, using the tutorial at this website:http://www.finhosting.fi/~fallout/cgi-bin/...?num=1230434906 My follower's ID is Marcusg(May be irrelevant) Problem: At the step where the author of the website states:"Right-click/add, and add the four that begin "FollowersStarPaladinCross". Open FollowersStarPaladinCrossFiredWaitCitadelLab. Change the StarPaladinCross in the ID to your ID. Change CitadelLab to describe where your NPC will be. I used FollowersMikaSniperWaitMegaton. Under Sandbox, click the big button in wander location, select Near Reference, click Select Reference, and double click on your NPC in the Render Window. Under Conditions, change the conditions to GetScriptVariable, select your NPC for ReferenceID, and for variable use your NPC's hired variable. (MikaSniperHired) IMPORTANT! DO NOT USE HasBeenHired, use YourNPCNameHired! Close the package window and it will ask if you want make a new object. You do." The only problem is, I cannot change the NPC's variable use to the hired variable.Here is what comes out: http://i41.tinypic.com/xbzuvr.jpg This script is for firing my character, he will go back to Megaton. Assistance please!I had the same problem while doing Viktrika (see sig) what i finally had to do is go line by line block by block with the authors MikaSniper companion (both it and mine loaded in the GECK) and bounce it off one another, i had some variables that were supposed to 1's as 0's and 0's as 1's. try doing that and see what comes out Edit: also have you already done the scripts and other things, as well as place said person in game, mine would do anything until i had the script already on the charecter and was placed in the house i made for her Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(It involved the Script for Marcus, I hadnt inserted it into the actual NPC yet, after I did that, I rectified the problem.) (By the way, I noticed your follower mod, I lol'd.) HOWEVER, I STILL HAVE ANOTHER PROBLEM Here's the website's words:"On the package's Conditions tab, double-click on the first condition (GetIsID). Click the button that says "NPC: StarPaladinCross", which will bring up a list of the game's NPCs. Select yours here. (You can type the first few letters to get close to your follower's ID.) Hit OK to save the Condition Item." I have no idea how to do this.-I do not know who's package conditions tab I'm adding to...-I do not know where the first condition is...
