christhehero
Hey long time and no post it seems for me I've got a really weird issue that seems to have randomly developed... I've just got a new laptop, an MSI GT60 (i7 3630QM 2.2ghz/3.2ghz, 24gb DDR3 RAM, Nvidia GTX675MX 2gb GDDR5) and its certainly powerful enough to run skyrim with ease, and it has for a day or so until i began modding it. Today after installing several new mods i've just noticed a really weird issue, when i went in lakeside manor as i pan the camera round it sort of jitters/slows down like the frame rate drops off, but this only occurs on certain interiors it seems,i've encountered it in smaller cottages and lake view but nowhere else seems to get the issue Exterior wise the game runs perfectly and has no issues so its confusing the life out of me why its only occurring inside the odd place, weirder still it doesn't occur in the lakeview basement just in the main living quarters... I've removed all mods then uninstalled and reinstalled Skyrim and tried it totally vanilla and the issue is still there...... list of mods that were installed/will be reinstalled Calientes Vanilla outfits for CBBE -vanilla Armor & combined packKiler Keos Skimpy CBBE V2-V3 armor repplacerDouble Cursor fix -DCF_pluginCloaks of SkyrimHigh Quality 3d MapSuperior Lore friendly hair HD texturesEnhanced Lights and FXGrass on SteroidsUltimate HD fire EffectsCalientes FEmale Body Mod bigbottom edition -CBBE-Better Malesvampire lord retexturemature skin texture and body for unp cbbe adecskyrim flora overhaulMonlight Tales - werewolf and werebear overhaulproject reality - climates of tamrielunofficial dawnguard patchunofficial dragonborn patchunofficial heartfire patchunofficial high resolution patcha quality world mapskyuistatic mesh improvement mod anyone any ideas what could be causing it or any possible remedies? EDIT: i should clarify it only happens when rotating the camera/looking left/right/up/down moving in straight lines or strafing doesn't result in the same random jittering Edited June 9, 2013 by christhehero
christhehero
I've done the 31 day wait thing (i think) and it doesn't seem as bad the lagging effect in lakeview manor could it be save file problems? my saves are 14mb which seems a little high. ii might start a new save and see the effect that has on it, as after removing all mods the save files are the only common factor
christhehero
Can any mod merge these posts for me? Anyway onto todays discoveries, after googling the issue i found some people say this random issue could be caused numerous things, but randomly the issue doesn't seem to affect windowed mode of skyrim, and so after testing various resolutions i can confirm that this issue doesn't occur in windowed mode, even when on the same 1980 x whatever resolution......not only that the game seems to be now running well in excess of 30 frames per second, its more like over 60 frames per second now...no idea whats going on at all
prod80
see if uninstalling A Quality World Map with Road and this 3D world map help...Other than that, you shouldn't uninstall a lot of mods on your save game - that will mess stuff up really bad :S save games will remember everything, and especially uninstalling can cause issues because your save will look for stuff it cannot find and will continue to do so.
