So.. first of all, sorry if my english is not great, im not a native speaker, im gonna try to express myself the best i can.

I started playing skyrim the past weekend after like 7 years. I'm playing in Skyrim SE, last update (1.5.97). I never played with mods before except with the Inigo mod, and that was the first mod that i wanted to download. I'm pretty new to all the mod stuff, so i watched a ton of youtube videos yesterday, i spent several hours trying to understand how to use mods, use Vortex and how to step by step correctly install Skyrim Special Edition and the Script Extender. I tried numerous times to install the Inigo mod, the newest version (INIGO V2_3) but it had an error, basically saying that the mod i was trying to install wasn't "compatible" with the game.
At first i thought the problem was that the Skyrim SE version was old, and indeed it was, it was the 1.4 so i had to update the game to the 1.5.97 version. But after that the same problem keeps happening, i dont know exactly what im doing wrong.

Is it the way i installed the Script Extender? (btw the version i installed is the current SE build 2.0.19)
Or is something wrong with the way im using Vortex?

The error that Vortex says:

Check failed:

Some of the archives in your load order are incompatible with Skyrim SE. Using incompatibles archives may cause your game to crashe on load.

Incompatible archives INIGO V2_3

Inigo.bsa - is loaded by Inigo.esp, but intended for use in Skyrim (2011)/ Fallout 3/ Fallout New Vegas

The SSE version of Inigo is 2.4c. Are you sure you are using the SSE version and not the Legendary version? The Legendary version is 2.3.

Yes, im using SSE, not the Legendary version. I can't find that version of Inigo you're speaking of. On the Inigo page in Nexus, the last version it shows its the 2_3. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40960?tab=files

I suspect your problem is you are using the skyrim LE Inigo instead of the SE one. The problem would be the .bsa that holds all the assets. Skyrim LE and Skyrim SE both use a .bsa, but they are not compatible. Using an LE bsa file in SE will crash the game. Unless you know how to port, most LE mods are not compatible with SE out of the box. Most meshes are not compatible and even animations need to be updated. Scripts and usually textures are fine, but some paths have changed. Scripts is an example.
