Someperson131 Posted June 10, 2013 Share Posted June 10, 2013 Hello, I have been playing New Vegas for a while, (I got it last october ) and I could play on high settings without any problems. I started playing it again, and began modding it too, and then suddenly, it begins to lag. I've spent some time testing if any mods are to blame, but the game lags even when unmodded now. I've tried a few fixes (NVSE stutter remover, better performance mods, D3d9 etc) but nothing seems to work. I'm very confused, and when I search for solutions I find others with the problem but cannot find a fix, or a reason as to why it just started lagging either.So, it's not any mods nor my systems so I have no idea what to do... It's quite annoying since a day after this began to happen I got all the dlcs and can't play it without this horrible lag. (I also have just reinstalled and began a clean save as well) Also, the lag seems to only happen when my character walks. I have no issues with being around npcs or any particular areas in the game, it only seems to happen when I move, and is broken when I move again. For example, I'll begin walking forward, and it lags... Then I slightly step to the side while walking and it fixes itself until I stop and begin to move again. It makes combat really awful... I would appreciate any help or advice on this, thanks.
