SirMagus Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 So I made a headband/bandana mesh, but when I import it to an existing NIF file, it doesn't work. So, I need help to put it on the head. Do I need to attach it to the skeleton or something? If so, how do I do that? Mesh is made in Blender. Is it possible to make a high quality video tutorial on how to make your own helmets, armors, boots, weapons and so on... In blender and in NifScope If good video tuts are made, there will be more modders and we'll get more mods to choose from =D Well, If anyone knows what I'm talking about, here's a pic of my NifScope list of the headband. http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/6562/headbandnifzu1.jpg
SirMagus Posted February 8, 2009 Author Posted February 8, 2009 I followed all the steps, but the same thing happened like before... When I put on the helmet the head disappears..

When I put on the helmet the head disappears..That's because it fills the head slot. If you assign it to just the hair slot, only the hair will disappear. If you assign it to the tail slot, only the tail will disappear. The actual rigging of the head item depends entirely on the shape, size, and amount of coverage of that item. It may be rigged to the skeleton, which does not take into considderation changes in head shape/size. Or it may be conformulated, which does not move with the body, but does take into considderation changes in head shape/size. It cannot be both.
SirMagus Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 Well, I put it as tail, but when I started wearing it nothing happened, lol.. I was naked, put on the helmet, still naked..
