nyde21 Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Just recently I had to format my hard drive. I reinstalled Fallout 3. And then I installed the mods I "always" used. But to my surprise, this time they didn't work. I changed the line in the .INI bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 Now, if I make that a 0 (back to way it was) I am able to play Fallout 3. Just don't know if all the mods are running. When I make that 0 a 1. Thats when NONE of my mods work. Not even a single one works. Why???

nyde21 Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 Yes I am. Turns out that it's only happening with MMM. Why?? Archiveinvalidation is done. There are other mods fully working! Why not this one? I do know how to install mods. Been doing it since Oblivion OOO 3.1

Date affects the mod load order if your using the standard Fallout 3 Launcher (Fallout 3.esm has to be loaded first to avoid issues - ie it has to have the oldest modified date). If you have GECK try opening MMM and saving (without making changes), that'll make it the newest file (and so loaded last).
Smosh Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 I know that when I patched the game that it shoved the Fallout.esm somewhere into the middle of my load order which I didn't notice at first. That played merry hell with my game.
nyde21 Posted February 10, 2009 Author Posted February 10, 2009 The load order is fine. It only happens when ArchiveInvalidation. txt file contains the archive info for MMM. If I remove those lines...game works. But not MMM.
