bundah
I've always been a bit irked by the fact that all Fur armors in Skyrim were the same brown fur... I've searched all over the nexus for a mod that changes this and found several wonderful fur re-textures but they all recreate the same issue i had to start with but now in a different color... What i'm looking for is a mod that create multiple sets of fur armors. I'd like to see it so that when encountering random NPCs in fur they vary from one to the next in that one might wear brown fur, another might were white, and another still might wear black... I'd be even more impressed if the region the NPC is located in influenced the fur color as well due to the local wildlife, such as the snowy regions would have an increase in White Fur due to the local wildlife having predominantly white fur... I know how to create multiple sets of fur armor using the CK and NifSkope. However, I have no knowledge as to how to add this new armor to the gear worn by various NPCs... Thus why i'm asking on here... Edited June 11, 2013 by bundah
Doeetfgt
Something like Automatic Variants, except for armors?Might want to look that mod up and see how it works.
bundah
Automated Variants... the one for random fur colored werewolves... yea somewhat like that... However... I'm fairly certain that that mod works by introducing new werewolf types to the spawn list I don't think it actually modifies the existing werewolf assets... if at all possible i'd like to see the new fur variants craftable through use of the various fur types... though that could be a later project Also when I said I know how to create the sets in CK and Nifskope... thats litteraly all I know how to do... I don't know how to do anything past that... I can add the extra armr variants and redirect the texture paths, but I don't have a clue how to introduce them into the world outside of manual input console commands...
