Animation
All, I got the quest to find the Android. I was told to talk to Dr. Preston. He told me it was a hoax but gave me a holovid or recording. I asked every other person I could find in Rivet city and got no clues at all. So, I looked online on the wiki and it says to find Dr Pinkerton in the Broken Bow. Fine. So the door to his place is lockpick 100, but there is an underwater tunnel. Stupid, but fine. So, I swim in the underwater tunnel and it doesnt help. I go into the door for the Broken Bow and I am in a square room with no other exits that I can find, no monsters (as people claimed in online questions about this same topic on other forums), and only about 2 feet at the top of the room with air in it. Is there an exit I am overlooking? I can get into the broken bow but the room has water and no exits. Just junk and almost no room to breathe. Help? Thanks
jaosals42
It's possible you made the wrong turn. Pinkerton's room is not underwater, nor do you have to swim to reach it. I've not been there for a while, but I do belive when you enter the broken bow, you head straight through three or so doors till you reach a wall. Then, make a right while still facing the wall and your should be going in the right direction. Keep an eye out for the plthora of traps.

Thanks There's a second door you swim into after the first one. It's directly in front of you when you enter the first room. Then there's another door to the left that you go through where the mirelurks are.

jaosals42
It wasn't a locked door for me to begin with. Then again, I was working on "The Wasteland Survival Guide" quest before the "Replicated Man", one.

Then again, I was working on "The Wasteland Survival Guide" quest before the "Replicated Man", one.You are talking about the door on the dock right? I've played through on 8 different characters. All of them had a 100 lockpick to use the door. The only other way I know of is swimming into the underwater door (which isn't locked).
jaosals42
If you don't mind cheats Animation, just go to the locked door and activate the console. Then in the console, select the door in the console and type in "unlock". The door should then be unlocked. There's an underwater entrance as well since Seeker reminded me of it, that is somewhere in the hull that you can also use to access, but you get a lot of radiation that way and chance drowning yourself. Animation
All, I managed to figure it out. I knew where the underwater tunnel was, I just kept overlooking the other exit there. I kept coming up for air, and so when I went back under, I just wasn't going deep enough. Essentially, the other door out of that room is directly in front of you and then slightly to the right in the back of the room. However, it is all the way down past the junk basically down by the "floor" of the room. It js just hard to see once you've come back up for air, especially if you spin around and look for another exit. Anyway, its all good now!
