prod80
haha,... when you go down the dark path of ENB you'll find yourself tweaking for a while  That's just how it is because everybody has their own taste and there is no "good setting for everyone" just a "generally accepted and easily changed one" ... If you dont prefer the look of an ENB and there is no easy (change 2-3 values) way to change it, it will be a few days to balance the settings again to your liking. I have tried to make mine more or less user friendly, which means the night darkness and dungeon darkness can be changed by installing CoT night levels in a lighter setting which is closer to vanilla and the Dungeon light by tuning 1 single value up  I don't know how RealVision is configured, but I would assume it's more or less the same, as it has the same dependancies. In general you shouldnt mess around with it too much, unless you know what you're doing and what influence your change has on the environment you play in (there are some strange relations I can tell you... like some day weathers responding to night time settings and the likes)... However, it is fun and you can really tune the game exactly how you like it and archieve some serious good looking s***

annoluce
Hi,yesterday I tried with no ENB and indeed, the game fps was acceptable even with 2K texture installed. So it is ENB fault unfortunately.I tried the Zoner one, based on 0.108 and it was running smooth, but at the end the sunny textures were too bright and so I disabled this ENB too. Finally I tried just the "sweet FX" mod and it goes quite smooth. It does not have the visual power of Real Vision, but at least I can play. Now, I see that ENB based on 0.108 run well on my machines. So, if you have suggestion on other ENB to try, based on previous versions of the Boris dll, it would be appreciated a lot.I'll try them all, till I find my way!

annoluce
690 is not a single card, it's 2 GPU's on a single card. So youre basically in the same boat again... I seen some people with 690's having major issues. Anyway those top end cards are generally overpowered for Skyrim... and nobody knows how the next line of Nvidia is going to perform with Skyrim (7xx series coming this year). Will depend on the drivers. If you;'re willing I can send you an ENB setup based on the "old" (but very good actually) binary 0.132... fully compatible with RLO and CoT. Very dark nights/dungeons tho... dunno if you like that (some people prefer sunlight underground it seems :P ) That is of course, if your game runs smooth without ENB enabled. So, let me know... Hi Prod, send me please the ENB based on 0.132! I'll try it, since the problem I think resides in 0.168 version, at least for me.Thanks!

FiftyTifty
Wait, crossfire? Get RadeonPro. Create a profile for TESV.exe, then apply the crossfire profile for Oblivion or Fallout 3 (Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout NV and Skyrim all use the same engine). Should make a nice improvement.

Ever been at night in a forrest with no "modern day lighting" around? It would be pitch black dark and you'd be happy to see your hand in front of your face, so it's still a bit friendly like this. You can easily correct that tho by installing another night level darkness which comes with CoT.

In the last catalyst package there is already a TESV crossfire profile created by AMD. I tried it but unfortunately it does not give any improvement.Do oblivion or fallout profiles work bettter than that?
