MasterAub
OK thanks again mate. I'll pick the 304 (bigger number, sounds better) I'll report on OCC tomorow. As per ENB I never used any ENB (Skyrim or Oblivion) so I might run with your choice as well. I've already have OBGE installed and I am running currently the OBGE water plugin (btw it looks really good) so don't hesitate to give me some advice on OBGE shaders. In the meantime I'll pay a look at the ENB you mention. Thanks again for your precious help Edited June 25, 2013 by MasterAub
Oromish
As long as you don't use WB 303 it's fine. :3 It depends on what you like. I run with the Crysis DoF, God rays and HLHSBleachbypass float Opacity = 0.4. I would also add SSAO, but sadly my I lack the GPU for that. It's only a GTX460 1GB Vram card so I also had to scale down most textures to 1024. I prefer performance, so even with how nice SSAO can look I find anything beneath 30fps to be too sluggish. (Unless it is in a town.)I also slapped on SMAA injector on ultra. I also forced 16 AF in the nvidia control panel instead of using the OBGE shader. That's the cost of running with FCOM and MOO + 300 other mods, you have to sacrifice some graphics for gameplay. But it looks good enough for me. I value the content and gameplay more. So it all depends on your hardware, what kind of performance is acceptable for you, and your preferences.Remember that even with a high end PC, oblivion will run very poorly with lots of mods. MasterAub
Hi everyone. Ok installation process is over (well you never know ;D ). I've installed wrye bash. Everything is working well. It picked up my already installed mods very nicely. I used it (wrye bash that is) to install WAC and make it cohexist with OOO. By the way on my way from Leyawin to Bravil I got chase by a black Mantis, saw rabbits running around and even chimpmuk (nice piece of art) And I managed to re-installed OCC and everything seems to work very nicely as I managed to go through Anvil, Leyawin and Bravil without loading screen . So far so good. I tested the recommended ENB but did not really like it (too pale for my liking) but while searching TES Nexus I stumbled across this work on Normal Map: Really Textured Normal Maps for Vanilla by Jarod http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/38204/? I would like to try it. As any of you tested it? Is it compatible with Qarl Texture Pack III Redimized (probably not)? I also stumble across the Fresh ENB for v167 by evilsage4http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/43548/?Have you tested it? if so any advice or reco? Anyway thanks for reading and helping. I'll keep you posted :P Edited June 26, 2013 by MasterAub

MasterAub
I am starting to understand why my 25 mods limitation was silly...I am currently in Elsweyr and loving it... ;D

MasterAub
I have been playing for a week now (1 hour per day) so not so much and I am level 1, ahahahaha (the OOO effect). Between checking nice mods and installing them the time is flying. And of course I have more and more questions The Elswer.esp is checked and green in Wrye Bash and working just fine in Game. However Wrye Bash is telling me it is corrupted. Should I worry, re-install or let it as is? :ermm: I am trying to install Dynamic Map but I am having problems (terrain map). The map shows up in game but Zoom in/out is not working. I am guessing I need to tweak the INI file in order to change the key setting which for the moment are the same as the shortcut keys (2 3 and 4). Am I guessing right? :ermm: I have install Valenwood Landscape for Under the sign of the Dragon. But it's "only" a "buggy" landscape (well so to speak). But I see there is a Valenwood Improved with a TMWP Patch so I am guessing it is now compatible with Under the sign of the Dragon initiative? Am I guessing right? :ermm: I saw an Hammerfell mod as well as a Black March Mod are those intresting to install and are they a risk to my Game stability? Anyway I feel like I will be back to moding Oblivion pretty soon (August probably). I have at least 3 projects (for my game not public ones at least at the moment):I would like to add a true Shield Merchant Mod.I would like to add W.A.C annimals within Valenwood (will see if it's a patch for Valenwood Improved or just spawning points accross Valenwood Landscape). Finally I would like to add W.A.C pet companion Shop. You see that's one of the strength of Oblivion. The game really manage to trigger your imagination.
