shadowreaper753
So I've been playing Fallout 3 with all DLC, FOSE, and a bunch of mods for a while, and there were no problems. Then I found these two mods that looked cool, which were http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/11401//? (Bandshirts by Volek) and http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/3365//? (Coyote Reflex Power Armor by Renard) And as soon as I properly installed both of then, I launched FOSE, the game just stopped working. So then i uninstalled the two mods, and it happened again. I've already reinstalled the whole game, along with my other mods, and it is still not working. After reinstalling it, I did try to play the game with the DLC's, and It could start up. And then when I reinstalled the mods, it happened again. I uninstalled the mods, and yet it still happened. I don't know how to fix this because I'm not too smart at mods and such, and all I wanna do this is play it with my mods.. Can anybody help? prensa
shadowreaper753 - Hello! Is Fallout 3 running without any mods or DLC's ticked? If it is not, have you made any alterations to your .ini?Try deleting your .ini file so that Fallout 3 will make it from scratch. The one you want is in:For XP:My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\For Vista & Win7:Documents\My Games\Fallout3The file you want will be called:FALLOUT.iniDelete it & run Fallout 3 to see if it works (It'll create a new one on running). If still no luck, is it crashing or freezing? If it's freezing & you have a multi core computer, look here for a solution:http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/408910-freeze/If your game is only crashing when mods are active, check the above mentioned FALLOUT.ini file for this line:bInvalidateOlderFiles=Make sure it's not set to 0 & instead looks like this:bInvalidateOlderFiles=1Still no dice? Switch off all your mods then enable one mod at a time & check between each to see if Fallout 3 runs. That will allow you to identify the culprit.Hope this helps!Prensa
shadowreaper753
I have all DLC's and a bunch of mods (As I had stated before)I fixed the crashing by myself, but now it is just freezing. I tried the Multi-core thing anyways, and yet it still freezes. I believe it may be a mod, since I could run it perfectly without mods. SUPER HAPPY EDIT: Ok, so I realized I had done the multi-core fix before, so I decided to undo the fix, and now it is working!! Edited June 12, 2013 by shadowreaper753
