LizardSandwich
Well I wouldn't call Skyhammer Hold particularly grim but it's more for barbarian types. I'd venture to say it's medium sized with about 12 beds for followers should you put two in the tunnel doghouse. :biggrin:I've had a look at it. It has many nice features! But I'm not sure my ladies will like the barbarian style, though. Mjoll (Ms. Dovakiin) might, but Serana, Cerwiden, Illiana, Vilja probably won't... :ermm:

Ok, it's slightly more barbaric than my current home, Candle Pond Ranch... BUT I LIKE!!It has a wonderful vibe to it. I'm seriously thinking of moving the clan there. Ah, hang on, the tour continues, the realter is calling... Edited June 14, 2013 by LizardSandwich

TheGreenLion
I have thought about doing a bunch of stuff for it, there is a lot of potential left. But, I'm finally playing Skyrim for once (I've never even finished it, lol!) so I'm rather enjoying how that's going. Some things I've been pondering just off the top of my head: General Stores integration, maybe a farm and sizeable stable, an outside guard house with lots of space for more followers and maybe even some merchants that chill in a guest house. But anyway enough of that, I can go on and on about what I'd like to do with it. ;D
farmland1995
Well, I think you should use some of those in Riverwood area:http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29482/? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26835/? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/30391/? The Castle Riverwood is the mod that I am currently living in and as far as I know it's quite peaceful with the guards. Most of the big Castles, Mansions are far from civilization area so you better choose some mod above or type in Nexus Search like Whiterun, Riverwood, Winterhold, Solitude player home etc.. Unless you want to live alone ;)Or, just build your own home in Hearthfire and , well, you still have to live alone far from cities and villages. stoaty6666
Hi I have the same problem as you collecting nice looking followers, mine are split between candle pond ranch and elysium estate which has beds for eight followers.Edit I'm looking at skyhammer hold myself cant see how I missed this one, very nice piece of work. I may close candle pond ranch down and move into the hold, if my posh followers don't like it they can stay in elysium estate. LizardSandwich
"The Castle Riverwood is the mod that I am currently living in and as far as I know it's quite peaceful with the guards." I agree with you there, and I used it on one of my earlier playthroughs, but I don't recall how many it could accomodate.
