Problem with the D3D9.dll "fix"

Ok so earlier i was haveing some problems with the game not loading properly after the into, i soon found out that the d3d9.dll file would fix this problem.

 

And it did.Sort of

 

Now whenever i start up new vegas the screen is just black, i can the music, i can hear the menue buttons, heck ive even maneged to properly start up the game. But throughout it all i can see a damned thing. Has anyone run into this problem before? it might hlep to know that im using dual monitors if thats at all relevant

 

 

 

EDIT: it appears as if ive maneged to fix the problem using some alternate D3D9 files, so i guess this thread can just be locked if anyone was even paying attention to it XD
