Faalaad
While it's nice to have all of the extra content in a single package, in the original releases, I preferred to install certain DLC only when I've advanced the plot to a point that they felt appropriate. And sure, while you can just try to ignore most of it, some are harder to do so than others. Would a tool, or mod like this be feasible? Perhaps it could already be done through game save, or coalesced editing? Or is the extra content "baked in" a bit too thoroughly to allow any of this? BUCKinFL
I would like something like that, if I could dictate when things happen. For instance, in ME2, I do prefer to do LotSB as soon as possible, while some people feel it should be done after the suicide mission. I get why they would see it that way. Why wouldn't Liara join Shepard, especially if he is her LI, after LotSB? Well, if I were amazingly wealthy, and turned this series into a Game of Thrones quality series, I would make a lot of changes. One would be that Liara WOULD accompany Shepard on that mission. She would join shortly after LotSB, maybe sort of coming and going type of thing. So I would have LotSB fairly early into the ME2 section of the miniseries. Probably somewhere between 1/4 and 1/3 into it. And Liara would be his LI. It wouldn't make sense for her to be his LI, and not prioritize helping her, and her helping him, as much as she can. Even if she didn't go on the SM, she would still be much more active, and going on some missions with Shepard. But yeah, while I love this series like no other...if I were going to do the Big Budget Mini Series, a lot would need to change. While I love the whole thing, there are plot holes and scifi issues that you could drive the Destiny Ascension through. But anyway, this is why I would like this mod, but would want to be able to tailor when the DLC's happen. For instance, I am just past Priority: Citadel II, and got word that I get the apartment, can do the Citadel DLC. I mean what? IMHO there is a very clear cut point in the story where you should do that DLC. Let me know if you agree. IMHO, it should be done right after you lose the Catalyst to Cerberus. Shepard feels like he has let everyone down...failed...feeling like all is lost. This is when he needs some R&R the most, while Hackett and Anderson prepare to go after the Illusive Man, and the Avatar. That's where I do it, every single time. When it released, I just loaded up a save and went and played it. But after playing it, it was clear to me that it belongs in that spot...right after Priority: Thessia. That is where I would move it to.
