woodtortiose
Hello, I'm having some trouble with my modded morrowind game, and I was wondering if anyone had any help/suggestions/working load orders etc. First, a little background. I first started playing TES games with morrowind on xbox. Naturally frustrated that I couldn't play all these sweet mods I was seeing, I considered getting a computer. When oblivion came out on 360, I said goodbye to consoles forever, bought a computer, and happily dove into oblivion. I became pretty good at dealing with oblivion mods. I'm competent with obmm, wrye bash, obse, etc. I successfully installed fcom before fcom helper and boss came out, and I've had stable games running with 250 mods. Now I'm trying to go back and play morrowind, and I'm having nothing but problems, as there are many issues that I never really dealt with in modded oblivion, like the bad save game corruptions, the issues with adding/removing mods midgame, all the doubling etc etc. Even when using TESTools and Wrye Mash (which I'm still learning how to use), it seems like everytime I install new mods I get a ctd when I load, or I load, save, and get a CTD when I try to reload. I've backed up my save games, texture folders, ini file, etc, reinstalled twice now, I still keep having problems. Since I played vanilla morrowind to death (became nerevar with every race, etc), I really want to play lots of different mods and have a completely new game. OK, enough bitching. I guess my big question is, does anyone have a stable working game running lots of mods, and would they be willing to share with me their load order and the basic steps they took to get it running well? Ideally I'd like the mod list to include: lots of quest modslots of Emmas companion and quest modslots of city expansionssilgrad tower and tamriel rebuiltbetter bodies, and a good npc face replacer (I love Tarnsmans facepack compilation)A decent amount of clothing/armor/weapon/housing/tweak mods, preferably compilationsdecent race mod or two or threeetc etc You get the idea of what I mean. A decent selection of working, integrated mods so I can install them, start a new game, and play it through without having to attempt any uninstalls midgame. So if anyone has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks
