darkranger85
I was playing the game and I had this thought. Why would I be able to take down a guy in a power armor suit with my little pee shooter of a gun just because I hit him 100,000,000 times? I think that if say I walk up to him with a gun without enough punch it should just bounce off the armor and you need a more powerful weapon, or maybe somehow there could be armor piercing rounds or something like that? Ideas?

sumoftwosins
Well if the power armor is just normal metal, small calibers can be deflected. If it is some type of body armor, it would fragment. Normal metals, 5.56 - 5mm - .308 is all going through it. Armor might stop some of it, but not the .308. Realistically that is.... but we do have laser weapons and what not in Fallout, so what the hell... they have more advanced armor then we do. Achronos
It says in Fallout lore that the power armor was used against chinese tanks. In-Game, with realistic damage, one talon guy killed a whole squad of outcasts. I'd have to agree, this idea would make things alot nicer.

zip2k4
I've fixed this problem in my realism mod, i noticed the "ignore normal weapon" i used it in power armor and lets just say a 100 people with 10mm pistol couldn't even scratchthe guy, well a bit, but not much :3 only guns with considerable ammos are used on the par as "ignore normal weapon resistance" so ya, haha! :D
