Reithymn
Sorry if tihs is in the wrong section, but I had to make a thread about it due to the incredible amount of irritation it's causing me.I'm playing morrowind (both expansions) via the steam download, and yesterday i put in quite a few mods. Everything was working fine until i put in Changing Heads by leeloo (I guess it was conflicting with better heads?) I undid the esp files of better heads but kept getting the error. Then I was like "oh duh, it must be conflicting with ryukaissen!" (which is a new race mod) but then I got errors for nord hairstyles or something which is completely unrelated seeing as ryukaissen is almost totally based off of argonians.I tried to uninstall/redownload morrowind, but it seems that steam restored all my mods while redownloading. I was wondering if anyone had a good way to delete mods or if someone could provide me with the game's default textures/meshes etc etc so I can delete everything that isn't supposed to be there. Thanks in advance,Reithymn
Chenoa
Hi Reithymn, I'd recommend to delete all folders and files inside of "Data Files" except Morrowind.esm/bsa, Tribunal.esm/bsa and Bloodmoon.esm/bsa, the "Music" folder ( which is easy to browse through, even if you have music mods installed) and the "Splash" Folder, which should be safe as well, if you haven't installed any unwanted loading screen backgrounds. After that there should be a feature in Steam to redownload deleted files. Maybe you want to use a mod organizing tool like Wrye Mash. :) I don't want to play a modded game without it anymore. It's amazing. Also I've created a backup of loose vanilla folders, so I can revert back without reinstalling Morrowind. It's very handy. I did this with the "Morrowind" folder as well, since I like to use MGE XE and the Code Patch. I wish you a great Morrowind experience!
