Seeking Advice on Which Mods to Use for Best Visuals

I'm new to nexus and modding skyrim. I'm looking for mods through the site to help improve character looks ( Vanilla characters and NPC's look hideous with rare exceptions). Also would like to get recommendations for a variety of other modifications to help improve the look of skyrim. I'm running on a very high end computer, so please don't sell me short. Need Help! There's too many mods to sort through.
