Joolander Posted February 10, 2009 Share Posted February 10, 2009 so i got to thinking, that fallout 3 needs expanded energy weapons one of the things required for this is of course, an automatic laser weapon filling the equivalent role of an assault rifle all there is now is the gatling laser, but thats obviously more of a mini gun why dont we see an AR laser? because the prewar tech was not advanced enough for a pulse type weapon (het issues im guessing anyway my point in all of this is requesting a mesh (and perhaps texture) for a an AR class laser weapon my idea for this is as follows -it is held like any standard small arms rifle-it should look like it fits in to the fallout world-it runs on the Microfusion cells found in game also... and this is the main thing - when it fires it will require a spooling time like the minigun before the first shot, so it would need some rotating cylinder animation to convey that it works on the same principle as the gatling laser sorry for no sketches or anything, i will try to upload some when i have time i may be able to help with texturing, as i have experience with photoshop, but i have never done anything like this Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
