Zorkaz
Does RegisterForLOS not work on Fo4 or am I doing it wrong? It doesn't get compiled not matter where I use it.
pepperman35
Not used it myself but I see that RegisterForLOS shows up in the script DLC04:SetStageOnGainLOS. Maybe it will offer some insight.
Zorkaz
Okay, thank you
LarannKiar
There's no RegisterForLOS in the ScriptObject script, only UnregisterForLOS. It unregisters the script for any LOS events between the viewer and target. You can register for LOS events with the RegisterForDetectionLOSGain / RegisterForDetectionLOSLost / RegisterForDirectLOSGain / RegisterForDirectLOSGain functions. SKKmods
The actual function is RegisterForDetectionLOSGain BUT WARNING !!! the LOS functions (OnGainLOS, HasDirectLOS, HasDetectionLOS) are super unreliable or unpredictable and I have totally stopped using them after wasting many many hours trying to document their behavior. I wish you better luck.
BlahBlahDEEBlahBlah
Was also something about âseeing their eyes/head/where their head would beâ being what itâs looking to have LOS of, iirc.
