Rare & Strange QuickSave Issues

Hello everyone!

 

* I wasn't able to find anything over a 15-25 min google search, some similar topics, but not quite like this.

 

I've recently been trying to play Skyrim again, and just ran into some trouble.

 

I deleted my old saves (through the games interface) and started from scratch. I've done this before multiple times without issues. I have not made any changes, apart from re-starting the game. It was working perfectly fine 15~ minutes prior to the incident.

 

When I get through the intro (cart ride) and my character hops off the wagon, an auto save occurs, which works fine. However, if I try to quick save at any point this message appears;

 

"The save game is corrupt and can not be loaded"

 

Regular hard saves & auto saves are working fine, but not quick saves. Of course I could just play the game using regular & auto saves, but I'm so used to quick saving at this point, it won't feel right.

 

Here are the steps I've taken;

 

- Uninstalled the game through Steam.

 

- Uninstalled the game through Steam -- Checked thoroughly to make sure there is absolutely no trace from Skyrim left on my PC (including the save games folder) -- Disabled the Cloud Sync feature.

 

- Uninstalled the game through Steam -- Checked thoroughly to make sure there is absolutely no trace from Skyrim left on my PC (including the save games folder) -- Disabled the Cloud Sync feature --

Uninstalled Steam itself -- Ran a program called "Rev Uninstaller Pro" to wipe even the tiniest leftover files related to Steam or Skyrim -- Restarted the PC -- Re-installed Steam & Skyrim on a different drive © -- Restarted the PC.

 

 

Guys, I've seen the Skyrim intro 8 times yesterday, I can't take it anymore! Plz HALP!

- I am not using any mods

 

- I have the new "Legendary Edition" of the game (all 3 DLC's installed including the High Res Texture Packs 1,2 & 3)

Memory: 16 GB RAM

 

Resolution: 2560 x 1440p
