Skyrim has stopped working SKSE Problem

Ok the game worked fine before i went to bed last night. I shut down the computer and when i woke up i turned it on ran steam.exe there was a steam update and then when i tried to run Attklt or SKSE immidiatly it said "Skyrim has stopped working" but i can run the game with the normal launcher.. any idea guys? i've tried to redownload SKSE aswell still nothing.

Did you install/unistall some mod after playing yesterday? Do you have the latest version of SKSE? Do you remove the old files of SKSE in Skyrim folder (the main folder not the Data folder)?

Try this: click the launcher and when is open do not click PLAY, click your SKSE launcher.

Try this: launch SKSE via NMM

Try this: launch SKSE via Wrye Bash if you have installed it. Also, if you have WB, look for missing masters.

it didn't work none of them and i have the latest version, i dont know how to look for missing master via Wrye Bash, here is my load order i can run skyrim fine with the normal launcher, this is a SKSE problem i dont know if skyrim has been updated or something is it only me?

I've not changed anything, it was working an hour ago, Steam updated and SKSE suddenly does not work.

 

I've got the uncapper installed and when I click on th SKSE it comes on, but the game never boots up. No error message, no nothing. It just doesn't run.

 

Running the game .exe works, running the game launcher works.

 

Trying to run SKSE through Wrye Bash, NMM, and attempting to boot up SKSE after opening the launch menu does not work. Rebooting does not help either. This is obviously an issue created by whatever Steam did.

 

Steam has broken or blocked SKSE somehow with this lastest update.

thank god im not the only one, there will probly come a patch soon then by SKSE.

Turn of the steam beta feature and the steam version will revert back and it will work again Topic RESOLVED :D

Ok, it´s a steam update issue, after I purchase Skyrim & DLCs I patched the game to not depend of internet, so I don´t update steam yet.

How do you turn off the beta feature?

Steam in upper left corner > setting > Beta Participation > Change > None - Opt out of all Beta blabla, sorry i didn't reply i was playing xD
