Game Crashes when Starting Battles

The Problem:

So basically, whenever I start fighting in a battle related to Skyrim's Civil War, my game promptly crashes. I first noticed the issue during the Battle for Whiterun, but I was able to avoid crashing by moving away from the city and fighting near the outlying farms. However, now I am having the same issue when I try to complete the Battle for Fort Dunstad, and I haven't had any luck working around it. I would greatly appreciate any help you guys can provide.

 

System info:

I'm playing on an Asus notebook, running Windows 10 (64 bit) with the following specs:

Processor: Intel® Core i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.90 GHz

Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 940MX, 2 GB VRAM

System RAM: 12 GB

Hard Drive Space: 2 TB, approximately 448 GB free

Move xpmse at bottom, above ASLAL

You are probably running out of RAM, only 2GB of dedicated vram is at the very lowest this game will run on. You might try lowering your resolution or the setting you are playing with; Ultra, High, etc.

 

However with your system you are not going to be able to play with many texture mods or a heavy mod load order.

 

I would recommend a new GPU with at least 4GB of VRAM.
