Okstad Posted June 26, 2021 Share Posted June 26, 2021 About 4-6 months back I saw several Youtubers (SgtGimlinho, MXR & Syn, if I'm not mistaken) covering a relatively new animation mod for enchantments. The mod only covered frost, fire and lightning-enchantments, but had a patch for either Summermyst or Wintermyst IIRC. It had very high quality animations, giving off ambient light. Fire enchanted weapons burned like Thoros of Myrs sword in Game of Thrones and functioned as a light source when drawn, much like a torch. Lightning enchantments had the weapon could randomly send off jolts of lightning that connected to surfaces and caused a bright flash. The frost enchantment was more subdued, but after the weapon was drawn and until you struck (I think), ice crystals gradually formed on the blade. All of the animations were isolated, so they did not appear on the hilt. Also, these enchantments were combinable to a degree, but it was still in development. When I google enchantment animations I find nothing of the sort. I've been looking for weeks and I feel like I'm going crazy, as the enchantment animation mods I found are of such a low quality I'm asking myself if I just made this up in my head...? Did I dream this? I saw SgtGimlinhos video during christmas, and MXRs and Syns in January/february. I've looked through their videos, but I can't find it.
